Earlier known as 'Sri Sthanak', Thane is a well-known city located in the Indian state, Maharashtra. It is also called the 'city of lakes', as there are around 35 lakes in this region. This city is of great historical importance, as India's first train was run between Boree Bunder station and Thane on the 16th of April, 1854. Over the years, many people from different states of India have made this city their home, giving a cosmopolitan feel to this region. It has a tropical wet and dry weather, which creates a pleasant environment for tourists visiting the city. There are several places in this city that are worth visiting for tourists. Booking a stay in Thane would give them the chance to visit all the popular spots in and around the city. Some of them are of great interest for people looking forward to have some great adventures. The Mama Bhanja hills are among such spots, located at Hanuman Tekdi and having an elevation of about 400 metres above sea level.

The Mama Bhanja hills comprise of Mama Hill and Bhanja Hill. Base of these hills is located at Lokmanya Nagar, which has a cover of dense trees. Trekkers can park their vehicles at the base, and then walk for about 50 metres to start trekking. Upon climbing further, they would reach the Mama Hill, which is full of hard rocks. Once they reach the top of this hill, they would find the Mama Dargah. Steps leading to the top of this hill are quite wide and made of rocks, which would be of great convenience for trekkers during their climb. For an average person, it may take an hour to climb the hill. In the middle of this climb, trekking enthusiasts can take a break and relax at a place called Mastan Darbar. Upon reaching the top of Mama hill, they would come across a junction, to the left of which is Bhanja Hill. This junction is called the Mama Bhanja Hill Ridge by many trekkers, and it gives some beautiful views of Thane city, National Park, and the Tulsi and Vihar lakes. Small streams are also visible at certain points if the trekkers happen to visit this place during monsoons. Upon reaching the Bhanja Hill, the trekkers would find a shrine called Bhanja Dargah. According to certain historical records, the Mama Bhanja hills are 400 years old.

Owing to scarcity of water at the top of these hills, tourists are advised to carry their own supplies of water and snacks. Beginning early in the morning would give them sufficient time to explore both the hills and enjoy some wonderful views that they offer. Booking an accommodation in any of the elegant hotels in Thane would give tourists the chance to visit the Mama Bhanja hills without any hassles. Rooms and suites in such hotels are designed according to the tastes and preferences of modern travellers. They are also equipped with all the latest facilities to make the stays of their guests truly pleasant and memorable.

2015 was a very busy year for the Indian ecommerce industry. Many companies joined the bandwagon for a share in the ecommerce market. Many ecommerce companies were launched and many closed down also in the same period. Some of the newly launched ecommerce shopping portals in 2015 were Aditya Birla Group's venture above, the Mahindra Group's venture m2all and Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) launched e-lala.
The current ecommerce scenario has become a rat race and is extremely competitive. Many people have this pre-conceived notion that only the giants survive while the start-ups fade. This is not the truth. Every giant today is where it is after sheer hard work and determination. They too were a start-up once upon a time. However, few ecommerce giants that have acquired the Indian market within a short timeframe are Flipkart, Amazon India, Snapdeal, ShopClues and eBay India. The right funding, infrastructure, marketing tools and idea has helped these giants flourish.
Though this sector has witnessed tremendous growth and is expected to grow even further, a lot of ecommerce companies in Indiaface tremendous pressure to ensure cash flows. Many start-ups have been forced to close down or change their business models if they want to survive.
However, though these ecommerce giants have achieved a firm spot in the online shopping scenario, there are few start-ups who have held their idea strong and firm and have not lost hope. These start-ups have stood against all odds and have had the courage to compete against these giants. One such example is Pepagora.
Pepagora.com is a B2B ecommerce portal/online marketplace that allows buyers, sellers and consumers from across the globe meet and gather information on various products and services. The portal is constantly working on its offerings and features in order to offer the customers a complete e-tail experience. Very soon, the portal will also launch an ecommerce feature which makes buying and selling a seamless experience and also bridges the gap between manufacturers and consumers. With the feature, the consumers can purchase directly from the manufacturers and vice-versa. Manufacturers need not have to go through third-party suppliers or wholesalers to let their products reach the consumers.
http://amzn.to/2k3Vij5
This kind of approach paves the way for more and more start-ups to emerge who want to sell their products through such a portal.
Thus, the Indian e-commerce industry is one that has great vitality. If you are a start-up and are looking at competing with ecommerce giants, make sure you have a unique and promising business model. Today, many top dogs in the industry are acquiring start-ups with innovative ideas and business models.
Indian consumers can expect to see newer and more exciting things in the ecommerce sphere in the coming years.

One of the magnificient wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal is also known as India's honour, diginity and pride. This monument of love, built in the 17th Century still manages to woo the hearts of not just Indians, but many foreign nationals as well. According to the Archaeological Survey of India, the number of footfalls of domestic and foreign tourists in Taj Mahal was a whopping 7.68 million in 2014, showing an increase of nearly 10.2% from the previous year (Archaeological Survey of India, 2015).
But, while many know the ancient city of Agra as the home to Taj Mahal, they don't realise that the city in itself is a lot more. Right from attractions like the Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, and others, there are many tourist destinations in Agra, that this city can boast about!
Keeping that in mind, here are three things that make Agra one of the best tourist destinations in the world, besides the magnificent Taj Mahal of course:
The Shopping Therapy
Metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Delhi are often known as the shopping hubs of India. But, if you are looking for something other than the conventional Prada or Gucci, Agra is the place to be. The quaint markets of Agra are famous for their marble stone inlay and collection of valubale products like leather shoes, belts and bags. Also, thier exquite jewellery and embroidery work is one you just cannot resist. But, that’s not all. While the products are unique in themselves, walking through the streets of Agra markets is an experience you just cannot miss. A busy thoroughfare of lanes and streets, with charming bright colours and intriguing little antique shops, the Kinari Bazar offers a variety of products along with a traditional Agra experience.
On the other hand, located close to the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort and many Agra hotels, the Sardar Bazar is probably the next best place to shop in Agra. The shops here have items with a diverse price range, letting you shop for products as small as the quintessential Taj souvenirs to even garden furniture. Take your pick!
Delicious Delicacies
Every place has a unique and special type of food that represents its culture, and Agra is no less. While it's gol gappas for Delhi, Agra, much like its people, prefer the sweeter cuisines. And, one in particular, 'Petha', a delicacy said to have originated from the kitchen of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, is an all-time favourite. Such is its popularity, that you will start seeing signs of shops selling Petha the minute you enter Agra. But, Agra cuisine isn't limited to just sweetness. Like most parts of India, chaats (savoury snacks) like bhalla, kachoris and samosas are well-liked in Agra as well.
The Magnificent Monuments
Agra was ruled by the Mughals for a long time, and the Mughals were known for their love of architecture. Considering this, it is hardly a surprise that Agra is endowed with many fine buildings and monuments, which are sure to leave you awestruck and mesmerised. While the list is endless, a few great monuments of Agra include the Agra Fort, Taj Mahal, Humayun Fort, Fatehpur Sikhri, Bland Darwaza, Jama Masjid and many more. These structures are so well-built that even today, after many years, visiting these sites take you back to the era when the Mughal Kingdom was at its peak. After all, these monuments are the best examples of Mughal architecture in India. Truly magnificent!
The Bears Are Fine
While shopping, food and monuments are pretty standard attractions for most tourist destinations, what makes Agra stand out of the crowd is its Bear Rescue Facility. Taking a complete diversion from the culture and atmosphere of Agra, this facility is a wonderful initiative taken by the Agra government. Located about 20km from the main city is one of India’s biggest bear rehabilitation centre where rescued animals undergo complete a health check-up and are given medical aid if needed. What’s more, this facility is open for visitors seven days a week, during day times, where visitors can take a walk inside the centre and even choose to sponsor an animal. Thanks to Agra, the bears are just fine!
Yes, you should visit the Taj Mahal while in Agra, but don't be surprised if Agra gives you much more. Outside the world of luxury hotels in Agra, is a world filled with culture, traditional paintings, folk dances, folk music and much more, that is sure to leave you awe-struck!

The evergreen Pachmarhi is one of the very famous hill stations of India. The dense forest of Satpura valley makes it a vulnerable habitat for wild animals. The wildlife sanctuary of Pachmarhi is adjoining area of Satpura National Park. Raja Bhoj international airport Bhopal is the nearest airport that connects to the “Queen of Satpura" that is none other than Pachmarhi.

The hill station situated at Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh is an easily reachable dream destination of India due its very strong connectivity through railways. It comes under Jabalpur railway division. Itarsi Junction railway station is a hub point to brings rail passengers and tourists from all over the India. However, the nearest railway station is Pipariya, just 50 km away.

Buses are easily available from cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Nagpur etc. Tour and travel operators in India provide cab service for comfortable journey. On internet many Indian travel portal websites promise to serve various services like online hotel booking service, ticket booking, air ticket booking etc.

The days to visit Pachmarhi is any time after rainy season that is monsoon. Though, it can be visited any month in the year. Being a hill station the summer is the best time to be there. Due to summer vacations families plan their trip to Pachmarhi during May- June. Generally a three to four days trip is enough. For wild life adventurous trip it could be a week long journey.

This is the narrowest cave found in Pachmarhi. Reaching to the spot is no difficult way. At times visitors have to wait for sometimes as only 4 to 5 people can enter the cave at a time to avoid claustrophobic situation. Temperature remains cool there as the wall of the cave is naturally moist.

We don’t always get what we want. Some of us are happy with what we get, and others remain dissatisfied. Still others keep trying. Which approach would be the right one? I will recommend another approach.

You can have a desire. Put in your best effort to fulfil it. But make sure you enjoy the effort rather than its fruits. Celebrate the march towards the destination. If the destination is reached, we will be happy.
http://blogs.economictimes.indiatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/7-1.jpg
Even if it is not reached, nobody can take away the sense of thrill at having run the race, the delicious fatigue felt along the whole body. My happiness is derived not from reaching a goal, but from the struggle I wage as part of my attempt at reaching it. Suppose I feel I will be happy only if you give me a thundering ovation when I conclude my lecture. That means I am not fully enjoying my teaching, rather, my mind is set on a particular goal. That very concern may prevent me from giving my best to my teaching and, thus, act as a barrier to my attaining the goal.

Playing football is one kind of joy, winning is another kind. The problem is, we identify joy exclusively with winning. Classical musicians are so absorbed in their performance that for all practical purposes, they are unmindful of the audience, the applause at climactic point, or the money they will receive from the organisers at the end.

What they enjoy is their involvement in bringing their art alive, not the end-result in the form of ovation or payment. So, enjoy the process. Enjoy the travel. Enjoy the endeavour.
