1) Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Previously Victoria Terminus)
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus better known by its abbreviation CST is one of the four World Heritage Sites in Maharashtra. Included as a World Heritage site in 2004 and was built by British architect Frederick Willam Stevens and took nearly ten years to complete (1887-1897).
CST is renamed after Shivaji, the famed Maratha king and Warrior of 17th Century. CST is now the hub of travelers because it is now incorporated as a railway station. Having the highest passenger density in the world about 6.3 million commuters travel every day, it is a nightmare to travel in trains especially in peak hours.
CST was prominently shown in a song sequence in the film Slumdog Millionaire which won Academy award.
The terminus is the major railway station and scores of people travel daily to and from here. Trains and commuters leave and arrive here continuously. Peak hour crowd can get to your nerves, especially if you are travelling for the first time in the city.
If you are a visitor then wait here for half hour and just have a look at the people, have a coffee at the stall and you'll have a better look at the life of Mumbaikars.

The monument is at the center of the road and vehicles zip past it without even having a look (I'm talking about locals). But the structure is just great and its beauty is magnificent.

Mahatma Gandhi's place of residence when he was in Mumbai, owned by the Revashankar Jagjeevan Jhaveri, Gandhi's host and companion. Place where Gandhiji started Satyagraha and Non-Cooperation movement to name a few.

There is something for every one. Rides for your kids as well as for grown-ups like us.
When I visited with our office colleagues I liked Thunder (which is the scariest ride in the park, it takes you upside down literally) and the aquadive which takes you in a pool of water in the end from a height.
